More Dex Entries and Sukhna Lake Gen 2 Update

A few walks around the Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh gave me all this.

Almost the entire city is dry of any rare Pokemon. Sukhna Lake seems to be the only refuge in these hard times. The motivation to walk more and more cannot come if I choose to stay near my house or any parks around the city. It has been continous trips to Sukhna Lake for past few days. We don't regret a single minute spent there. Before I share the Pokemon you can find around the lake, here's a Panorama from today's morning:
Sukhna Lake Chandigarh, Sunrise

Moving to the Pokemon entries and some more info:
A Party Hat Pikachu caught this morning. I won't really suggest you to go to lake specifically for this mon. Around 5 hours spent around lake since the event has started, this is the only Pikachu we were able to locate. Unfortunately, Niantic didn't increase chances of finding Party hat Pikachus like Christmas hat Pikachus during the Christmas and New Year event.

A wild Croconaw out of nowhere. I'll say you can expect the Gen 2 starters and their evolved forms on the Sukhna Lake track. But, no Cyndaquill or his evolved forms, the same goes for Gen 1 starters. I am yet to catch a single Cyndaquill but have caught more than 5 of each Chikorita and Totodile and also both their evolved forms.

Caught 2 Bayleef in 2 trips round the lake, so expect to catch one yourself as well. PS: He is high on CP but sucks on IV.

Qwilfish, that's a rare now. My first encounter with this Pokemon. I don't know if he's any good but that's one for the dex.

I wanted to evolve my Dratini into a Dragonair but catching one is fine too specially after the evolved ones are giving out more candies.

Pokemon you can catch around Sukhna Lake after Gen 2 release

Mantine
This guy is always on the path around the lake. So, if you walk all the way around the lake, I am sure you will catch one as I have seen one always since the Gen 2 release.

Dratini
Very high chance you'll catch one if you travel along the same path around the lake as well.

Starter Pokemon
The grass and water type starters of both Kanto and Johto region are reasonable common at the Lake Pokestop and the area around.

Onix
This is a surpise. The parking in front of lake is constantly spawning Onix for some reason. I have caught 3 so far and 1 ran away. So, go check out the parking and you should be able to catch one.
Update: It was a Onix nest. This place is confirmed a nest now. Do check it out, you may find something you need.

Sunkern and Slugma
There are too many Sunkern around the lake. Getting a Sunflora should be easy if you have the evolution item. Also, Slugma spawns quiet frequently around the lake.

Other common Pokemon are: Psyduck, Slowpoke, Magikarp, Bellsprout, Oddish, Nidoran (Male and Female), Krabby, Horsea, Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Pinsir and Tangela.

So, go check out the lake and catch them all.
